At the time, Damon had just signed a one-year contract with the Tigers. — Damon (born November 5, 1973) is an American former professional baseball outfielder who played 18 season in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1995 to 2012. During his illustrious MLB career, Damon spent most of his career with the Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. He’s a two-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion, having won a title with the Yankees and Red Sox. Additionally, Damon had short stints with the Cleveland Indians, Tampa Bay Rays, Detroit Tigers, and Oakland Athletics. He resides in Florida with wife Michelle Mangan-Damon, who he shares six kids with.
