Elena Kampouris stars as Minnow Bly in TV web drama, Sacred Lies, which airs on Facebook Watch. Raelle Tucker, is the executive producer of the series which is about mysterious handless teenage girl, Minnow, who it turns out has grown up in a cult. Minnow was just a young child when she was taken away from civilization and when she discovers the road is apprehended by police, she is confused and curious about this new world. Minnow and her family pay a huge price for their unwavering commitment to the cult and even after Minnow has escaped she has enormous difficulties mentally, breaking away. Raelle based Sacred Lies on the novel, The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly, by Stephanie Oakes, which Raelle had purchased the option to several years ago, and which itself was based on the fairytale, The Handless Maiden, collected by The Brothers Grimm. Tucker’s second season of Sacred Lies is currently filming and she is adapting another story from The Brothers Grimm, The Singing Bones.
