Cardi B Lashes Out At Peppa Pig After Daughter Kulture, 2, Takes On Puddle Stomping Obsession

Cardi B took to Twitter to complain about the animated children's show 'Peppa Pig' influencing her two-year-old daughter Kulture to 'stomp' in a 'wet puddle' every time she sees one.

Cardi B, 28, seemed to cheekily call out the animated character, Peppa Pig, from the long-running children’s series of the same name on Twitter on Dec. 27 and her fans couldn’t help but laugh. The rapper shared a tweet that explained the show is causing her daughter Kulture, 2, to jump in wet puddles with her UGG boots whenever she can and it’s ruining the fancy footwear.

“My baby been watching peppa pig,” she started her tweet along with a pig emoji. “and now Everytime she sees a wetpuddle she wants to stomp on top of it That shit gets me so tight ! F*Ckin up her uggs……Deum you peppa pig …COUNT YOUR F*CKIN DAYS!” She also added an angry face emoji expressing swear words.

Once Cardi expressed her frustration, it didn’t take long for her followers to chime in with lighthearted sentiments. “I thought I was the only parent struggling! My daughter swears I’m wrong for saying tomato. ‘nO mOmMy, iTs tA-MAHT-toe’,” one follower wrote, referring to Peppa Pig’s British accent. “Wait until Kulture starts speaking with a british accent,” another wrote along with laughing emojis.

Before Cardi’s tweet about Peppa Pig got attention, she made headlines for responding to a parody of her song “WAP”. The beauty reposted the video of the parody, which was called “WAmP”, that John Hopkins University came up with to promote the use of face masks in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and added a response. “Sksksksk,” it read. In the hilarious clip, the students of the school are rapping made-up lyrics to a beat similar to “WAP” and they’re all about how important it is to wear a mask while around others. “I don’t cook, I don’t clean, but let me tell you that I’ll get a vaccine #WAmP #WearAMaskPlease,” the caption to the post read.When Cardi’s not calling out Peppa Pig or laughing about parodies to her songs, she’s defending her music. After receiving some backlash over the sexual lyrics in “WAP”, she spoke out during an interview on Australia’s The Kyle & Jackie O show. “The people that the song bothers are usually conservatives or really religious people,” she explained in Aug. “But my thing is…I grew up listening to this type of music. To other people it might be vulgar, but to me, it’s almost really normal.”  “Of course I don’t want my child to listen to the song,” she added. “But it’s like, it’s for adults! It’s what people want to hear. If people didn’t want to hear it, if they were so afraid to hear it, it wouldn’t be doing so good.”
